Given by 57 generous donors in around 7 months

Hi, my name is David Carter and my goal is to ski down from top to bottom of Coronet Peak.

Nationwide

After a freak ski accident, leaving me with left side paralysis I decided that disability doesn't stop you.

I am a member of the Queenstown rotary club and I am fundraising, 40% to go to adaptive skiing, 40% to Queenstown cancer society and 20% to rotary charitable trust for smaller organisations in our Queenstown community.

At present this task of skiing down Coronet Peak stretching my capabilities and may take up to 8hours to complete but it is a goal I am passionate about as it was coronet where I had my accident.

The Queenstown community, and others to support the rotary challenge, funds for local causes as stated.

Club member has to Ski top to bottom of Coronet Peak 9 years after being paralysed on his left side from a skiing accident.

You have shown Coronet Peak that you still have what it takes to ski it as hard as you can, no matter your disability. You are still one of the most impressive skiers the mountain has had.
