This page has been setup to help Daniel "Hank" Stewart and his family in his final days.

Hawke's Bay

In October 2014 Daniel “Hank” was diagnosed with Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) a very common and very aggressive cancer.

The week following Hank’s diagnosis an operation was done to try and help remove the tumour. Unfortunately it could not all be removed as the tumour was to close to vessels. Chemotherapy and radiation followed lasting 4 months to try and help shrink the remaining tumour.

The treatment slowed the cancer but did not halt it, it came back very aggressively.

Hank is now in stage 5 of GBM. His health has gone done hill considerably in the past few weeks and he is now in palliative care with his family. He has been told he only has weeks to live.

For those of you who know Hank you would know of his work ethic which was second to none. His love for trucks, he was very loyal to the few companies he worked for over the 41 years he worked in the industry. A man who loves his family, loves his work, and loves his karaoke (for those who were lucky enough to see him in action)

This page has been set up to help Hank’s family with the costs associated with his funeral, so they can spend his last weeks not having to worry about money. Any donation big or small is greatly appreciated.
