The tenders are in and the Board met this week to discuss the hall construction contract. Thanks to the fabulous support from the community and various funding agencies, we are now able to proceed with the project! There are still lots of negotiations to complete but watch out for a full update on the project at the start of the new term. Thank you everyone!
Thanks to your incredible support over the last month of campaigning, last night we reached our goal and kept climbing! Today we had the pleasure of painting to the top of the thermometer at school, where we saw a carnival-like atmosphere and great excitement all round.
Tomorrow (Friday 8th July) we receive the tenders for the restrengthening work back, which will give us a firm idea of the final costs to fix our beautiful Hall. This is a nervous wait for our Fundraising Team.
In the meantime, keep donating and supporting this very special cause. We will keep you updated about the next stage and hope to be able to sign a contract for the work next week!
We have a thermometer mounted at CDPS so all the kids and parents can see how we're tracking. Check it out - we're well over half way to our target of $45,000!
We are delighted every time we have to add another strip of paint to our thermometer and the kids at school love checking the progress (with little fingers in wet paint especially!).
