I lived with Rob briefly while I was living in NZ. He was a great guy to live with and was about as real as a person could be. He never held back and told you how he felt about things. He was able to say what he felt and it just made me laugh but I always listened what he was saying. I kept up with him after I left Waipuk through our mutual friend Jordan and was really happy to hear that although the old Rob, who would go out drinking and end up with shirt off at the Leopard still made appearances, he had settled down a little and had his life in order and seemed happy with it. His death hit me hard, we hadn't spoken in years but I still thought of him and laughed to myself. I would tell stories about him to others, as I will continue to do, and it made others like a man they had never known. But that was the kind of person he was. I hope this little bit of money will help his family get back on their feet as they move on with their lives after this tragedy. From Boston, Mass. David
