Fight for Amy and Baby

Amy is a 30yr old mother (to Isabella, almost 4yrs old) and wife (to Gavin). They are a family committed to supporting families in the new community of Hobsonville Point and have helped connect the local church family in Hobsonville. Just recently (in mid October), Amy was 25 weeks pregnant when we received the devastating news that she has terminal liver and bowel cancer. The diagnosis came completely out of the blue and according to the Oncology team, Amy is one of only a dozen people around the world to have this combination of bowel & liver cancer as well as being pregnant which is complicating treatment options considerably.

My sister is an incredibly strong, giving, beautiful woman of God, and her family are grappling to understand what has happened in less than a week. The cancer is already very progressed and apparently the liver is already cancer ridden and bigger than their baby boy. We need to do everything we can to encourage, support, love and heal her, against all odds.

Any raised funds are for the family - for Amy, Gavin, Bella, and their little baby boy on the way. It could be used to help with alternative treatments as we try everything to change this, for parking/petrol etc for the husband, and for them to have time together as a family. Most of all, that they would not need to worry about finances at this time, and they can just focus on fighting for Amy and baby.

They have blessed so so many as a family and a couple, this is our chance to bless them.
