Nine intrepid kiwis in rickety 150cc rickshaws raced across 4500km of unpredictable Indian terrain in April 2011 to raise money for charity. The Rickshaw Run is an event run by The Adventurists who raise over £1,000,000 every year for global charities. All donations go to our chosen charity.
Like all New Zealanders, we were deeply saddened by the recent earthquake that has devastated Christchurch. Within 24 hours of the earthquake, Bnei Akiva New Zealand initiated a community-wide fundraising campaign for those affected in Christchurch. Once collated, all proceeds will be passed on without delay to the Canterbury Hebrew Congregation for further distribution.
