Update for 22/05/2013 22 May 2013
The Bitchesf Box is a piece of comedic theatre written and performed by Emma Newborn and Amelia Guild. The chance meeting of these two creativefs has evolved into what has been described as gthe funniest night out Ifve had in a decadeh. Emma and Amelia have written a show all about dogs. This unique, genuinely Kiwi production brings a dogs eye view of a day on the farm and offers a surprisingly strong story at the heart of a brilliant comedy. The show has been a huge hit touring New Zealand, with the near 50 performances and being celebrated with sold out houses. With such a warm and encouraging reception here in NZ, and an offer from the prestigious venue gthe Assembly Roomsf, the girls are off to the Edinburgh Fringe festival this August. Creative New Zealand has already shown their support with a funding grant, but finding the funds to execute a month long run in the city is nothing short of challenging. They are looking for support from donors to help with technical support, marketing costs, and venue hire to ensure they put their best foot (paw) forward when over representing New Zealand.
