Fender For Dad

My dad has been playing the guitar now for 25yrs and is amazing at it, he sounds exactly like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton etc when he plays their songs. Its his favourite hobby but he had to sell his last Fender Squire to raise money for their house bond.

Dad has always been a huge Fender fan, when I was little he had a proper Fender guitar but had to sell it to get grocery money for our family. We have a big family, 9 all together so there's 7 of us kids (I am the oldest). Dad is so amazing and selfless, I remember when I was 6 he used to play his guitar at the table while we had tea which was lovely. Just this year mum told me he used to eat hardly any dinner and lost heaps of weight back in those days cos he let us kids have all the food.

Playing the guitar is his favourite hobby and brings him so much happiness (he has a high stress social work job). He would never be able to afford a real proper Mexican/American made Fender which rrp for around $3000, let alone a cheaper Fender Squire, so I found one on trademe I really want to get him for a Fathers Day gift to say thank you for everything hes done for us. The guitar I found is a proper mexican made Fender Stratocast, a beautiful dark midnight wine colour for $730 but I can't pay the whole amount myself as I am currently an unpaid apprentice and a solo mum of 2 young kids so any help would be hugely appreciated <3 thankyou lovely people xoxx Rachelle
