Updates from Yasser
18 May 2024Due to the ground invasion in Rafah, Yasser had to move out of the red to an evacuation zone and was unable to communicate for a number of days because of an internet blackout. Two days ago, he finally had internet and was able to contact us despite some difficulties in the new settlement such as getting water. There have also been updates with regards to his mother currently with his sister in Egypt. She was suffering from spinal pain and had to have urgent treatment (please review her medical report that was uploaded weeks ago). Thankfully with your donations, she was able to undergo a successful surgery and is currently in recovery.

I moved to Mawasi Khan Yunis. The place is new. We need time to get used to these new faces of people, but we hope that the end of this tragedy will be near. We will see what happens in the coming days as a result of what happened at the International Court of Justice. Our circumstances have worsened, my sister. We're all tired here.
